Wednesdays 12-1pm- A hot meal and drink will be available for collection from the window in the Beacon Project car park. (Other supplies such as clothes and toiletries may be available subject to availability)

Fridays 12-1pm- A hot meal and drink will be available for collection from the window in the Beacon Project car park. On Fridays we will also provide a small food parcel to help over the weekend. (Other supplies such as clothes and toiletries may be available subject to availability)

Please note: No service users will be allowed into the building, there will be no access to toilets/showers and no laundry services will be available due to the current risk of Covid 19 and limited volunteers.

The main criteria for accessing this service will be if you are: Rough sleeping/Sofa surfing/Struggling to pay back debt/have no income or benefits in place

You will need to provide proof of circumstances or a referral from the council/Framework/CGL/Probation or any other professional organisation who can confirm your circumstances. Referrals can be accepted by organisations/support workers over the phone or by e-mail or by completing a referral form, these have been sent to the relevant people/organisations.

Social distancing – Social distancing measures will be in place for your protection and to protect staff and volunteers.  Once you have been served you will be kindly asked to leave to grounds of The Beacon Project/St John’s church yard, this is so people do not congregate in large groups and avoids the risk of anti-social behaviour happening on the grounds.

If people become rude, aggressive or refuse to leave the grounds after being asked to do so, a ban may be issued and the police may be called.

We look forward to being able to continue to help those in need and support our local community.

God Bless you all.
